Description
At St. Luke’s, our dedicated team of TeleICU/Virtual Hospital RNs are critical in providing exceptional, patient-centered care. St. Luke's Virtual Care Center is in the heart of downtown Boise, surrounded by skiable mountains and raftable rivers. St. Luke's TeleICU exists to optimize acute care outcomes through collaboration and the use of technology. The team-based model of care enables patients in our hospitals to have access to specialty resources, when and where they are needed.

What you can expect from this role
- All St. Luke’s ICU rooms have wall mounted telehealth equipment; along with portable units in our Med/Surg departments
- TeleICU/Virtual Hospital support is available 24/7
- Support bedside nurses by virtually monitoring and collaborating on patient care
- Remain engaged in the ICU/Med-Surg environment by rounding on patients, collaborating with physicians and bedside staff, and extend your reach to nurture ICU and Med/Surg RNs across the St. Luke’s system
- TeleICU/Virtual Hospital has onsight intensivist provider available 24/7
- On site position in high tech facility; NOT REMOTE work
- Part-time 0.6 FTE nights and a flex 0.3 FTE days available; 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends/holidays
- Certification pay available
- Additional PTO for night shift offered
Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree required, Bachelor of Nursing Degree preferred
- Experience: 3+ year RN Experience in critical care
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association or American Red Cross
