Description
St. Luke’s is recruiting for a Registered Nurse to join us in our strategy to be the community’s trusted partner in providing exceptional, patient- centered care. We are growing and opening a new procedure room and we are hiring! Come join the Nampa perioperative team working in Pre-Op, Post-Op and PACU.
** $5k Sign On Bonus Offered for position ** (offered for new hires)
Schedule: 0.5 Part Time (40 hours per pay period). Varied hours and varied days each week, based on surgery schedule. The position requires taking occasional night, holiday and weekend call. Call response time is 30 minutes.
What to expect:
PreOp has 18 bays for pre-op and phase 2 recovery. Pre-op is a medical/surgical unit specialized in preparing surgical patients for surgery. It is a fast-paced environment requiring the art of customer service, efficiency, and team work to safely prepare patients of all ages for surgery. PACU is a specialized area for patients to recover from anesthesia. The PACU is considered a critical care unit with 9 recovery bays. The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care based on patient’s needs.
Qualifications
- Education: Nursing Degree (ADN or BSN)
- Experience: 1+ years of Critical care, Pre Op or PACU experience highly preferred.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice.
- BLS required, ACLS highly preferrred
