Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - ICU/CCU

Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• IL license
• Minimum 2 years' experience required
• Special Requirements: Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, Obtain 12 lead EKG. IV insulin protocols experience required. Chronic/Acute Renal failure experience required
• Required IV therapy Skills/Experience: Arterial line management, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. 
• Required Medication Skills/Experience: Continuous IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade, Continuous IV sedation, Emergency Medications, Titrate Cardiac drips,Titrate Vasoactive drips
• Required Respiratory/Thoracic Case Skills/Experience: Assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal, Care of Ventilated Patient, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Suctioning (ETT, NT), Ventilator Management
• Required Professional Topics and Skills: Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIH 
• Cerner experience preferred

• Will float as needed
• Ratios/Daily Caseload: 1:2 ratio for all shifts. 4 bed ICU.
• First-timers accepted
• COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required
• Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

Position / Specialty: ICU/CCU RNShift: Nights (1)Ratios/Daily Caseload: 1:2 ratio for all shifts. 4 bed ICU.Years of experience REQ: Minimum 2 years' experience required.First-timers accepted: Yes.Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend.Certs REQ: ACLS, BLS, and NIH required.Is on-call REQ? No.Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float as needed.Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager.Locals accepted: Yes- no radius.Pending License accepted: No- active IL license required to apply.RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
