Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Med/Surg - 17 East and West
Shift: Variable D/N or Nights, 12x3, 36hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Weekends - variable based on unit needs
Requirements:

• OH License
• 2 years experience
• BLS
• ONS Chemo preferred
• Oncology experience preferred
• Previous Travel experience preferred

Other Details:

• Computerized charting: EPIC
• Floating required to other Med/Surg Oncology units
• Staffing ratios - goal is 1:4, but can be 1:5

*Self-schedule requests - you will enter your schedule requests so we can see your preferred schedule before balancing and posting the final schedule
*First week of orientation is Mon - Fri dayshift. Second week is 36hrs of on-unit orientation with a preceptor

Patient Diagnoses• The most common diagnoses include all subtypes of the following:• Breast Cancer• Lung Cancer• Prostate Cancer• Pancreatic Cancer• Colon Cancer• Esophageal Cancer• Encounter for antineoplastic chemotherapy
Special Procedures/Unit Details• 17 James cares for ALL solid tumor cancers throughout the spectrum of their cancer journey; from new diagnosis, through treatment, and also assisting with transition to end of life care.• Heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls• Cares for patients that have true med surg issues
Certifications Required• BLS
Skills Required:• Telemetry Interpretation• Telemetry monitoring
Certifications Preferred• ONS Chemo
COMPUTERIZED CHARTING• EPIC
Floating required to other Med/Surg Oncology units
