Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - CVPICU

Shift: Variable D/N, 7a-7p / 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday.

Length: 13 weeks

Must be able to rotate - travelers will rotate shifts every 3-4 weeks - facility will try to accommodate straight shifts if the schedule allows but will not be able to list that on contract, should schedule needs change.

Requirements:

  • DC License
  • 2 years of recent experience - floating does not count - Must be dedicated CVPICU
  • Must have 2 years of Stand alone CVPICU experience - floating does not count
  • BLS
  • PALS
  • ACLS preferred
  • Teaching Hospital Experience preferred

Other Details:

  • Charting: Cerner
  • Will float to other critical care units as needed (NICU/PICU) – no age cut off
  • First-timers accepted
  • Locals accepted:
  • Ratios: 1:2
  • Scheduling: Self Scheduled
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required + Booster - No Exemptions, Current Booster
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Unknown

Pending License accepted: Yes – must show screenshot of license pending and provide the date the license application was submitted
RTO Restrictions: 1 week – if a full week, must make up at the end of contract
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Special Requirements:
Missed shifts are required to be made up
If offered and accepted, must provide a photo upon contract signature

Total Staffed Beds: 323 inpatient beds – 70 dedicated to Neonatal ICU

Parking Cost: Day/Night rotating must park offsite
Unit: 42125 CICU
