Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:

• WI / Compact License
• 2 years experience
• Must have experience in ICP or ventric
• Must have Basic Arrhythmia experience
• Must have completed 2 years of acute care experience within last 3 years
• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• Teaching Hospital Experience preferred
  
• Trauma Level I Experience preferred

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to:Nurses will provide intensive care to patients who are acutely ill from a neurological deficit. This unit specialized in subarachnoid hemorrhages, un-stables ischemic and hemorrhage strokes, traumatic brain and spinal cord injury. The Neuroscience ICU is a 16 bed ICU which provides ICP monitoring and hemodynamic monitoring of unstable patients. The Neuroscience ICU will provide nurses the opportunity to work with severe neurological, neurovascular and neurosurgical populations.
Minimum Requirements:
Facility Requirement:• Traveler’s permanent address must be 50 miles from assigned primary work site location.• Floating - Travelers are the first. The Traveler may have shifts scheduled in multiple units, depending on the current staffing needs and/or different locations within the organization. During the traveler’s assignment, if the primary unit no longer has a need, shifts will be re-assigned to another unit in order to complete contract.
Experience:• Must have experience in ICP or ventric.• Traveler must have completed two years of acute care experience within last 3 years.
Licensure and Certification:• Traveler must have WI nursing license or compact license from their permanent address state.• BLS/ACLS – must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY
Telemetry• Traveler must have Basic Arrhythmia experience. Traveler will be required to pass Telemetry test prior to being cleared to start (not for clinic positions).
