Job Opportunities

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Med Surg 6 South

Shift: Days / 7a-7p, 12x3, 36 hours per week, Holidays rotate in with regular staff

Length: 13 weeks

Every other or 2 weekends per month is standard, could be higher to meet needs of department

Requirements:

MS License
2 Years’ Experience
Must have solid experience as an RN - 1 or more years level 1 trauma experience preferred or experience at a Very large medical center with a lot of surgeries/high acuity patients
Must be comfortable with lines, chest tubes
BLS
ACLS
Epic Charting experience

Other Details:

# Beds: 32
Nurse: Patient Ratios: typical ratio for all MedSurg units is 1:5 up to 1:6 at times, ratio would be adjusted down for higher acuity patients
Common diagnoses/Types of patients current INFECTIOUS DISEASE, also takes MedSurg overflow
Float within skillset, all staff float between all MedSurg units. higher acuity patients would be given to core staff
