Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12x3, 36 hours per week, every other weekend – Sat/Sun

Length: 13+ weeks up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays!

Requirements:

• NC License
• Minimum 5 Years ED Experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIH
• MOAB (facility will offer MOAB class)
• ENPC and TNCC preferred
• critical care patients, trauma, triage, and boarding inpatients skills preferred

JOB DETAILS:Target Ratios: 1:4 - assignments flex up and down based on acuity36 Hours ONLY can be offered.Unit will accept contracts from 13+ weeks up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the Unit through the Holidays!Shift: 12 Hour NIGHTS; 18:45 - 07:15Float Requirement: NONEWeekend Requirement: This is every other weekend – Sat/Sun
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS:Stroke certified- we give t-Pa, TNK, and transfer to PMC.Chest pain certified- only walk-in STEMI. Transfer to PMC cath lab for intervention.No trauma services, transfer to PMC.No dialysis services, transfer.We do not admit pediatrics, transfer.We care for the entire age spectrum.We have nurses and CNA's, MUR adn Paramedics. We have ED MD's and MLP's.Dedicated charge nurse 24/7.Can be overcapacity in house, thus ED MSU boarding occurs.Our cath lab performs intervention onsiteparamedics in our department
SPECIAL EQUIPMENT:Alaris IV pumpsScanning for medications and lab specimens
UNIT SYSTEMS: Pyxis, EPIC
SCHEDULING TYPE: Per Unit Needs
UNIT ORIENTATION: 2- 12 hour shifts of orientation on the unit;Hospital Orientation week one; traveler must be available for classes each day.
SCRUBS: navy and/or white
