Shift: Nights, 6:45p-7:15a, 12x4, 48 hrs per week, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• ME License
• 2 years experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• Electronic Documentation preferred
• Cerner charting experience, Management of dysrhythmias, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Telemetry preferred

• Scrubs: Navy Blue
• Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler
• Locals Accepted: Out of state travelers only
• Special Equipment: Baxter Sigma Spectrum IV Pumps
• Traveler Experience: Yes - only with Cerner experience
• Float Requirement: Yes, all except M3; helping hands in ER
• Unit Systems (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Omnicell, Cerner
• COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required
• Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical Exemptions Only

PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Adults: AKI, CHF, A-fib, arrythmias, and med surg. Dialysis patients are dialyzed on this unit with contracted staff performing the hemp. Pediatric population is low but are admitted with RSV, pneumonia, bronchiolitis, dehydration or failure to thrive

SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Charge Nurse
Common meds: Argatroban, Amiodarone, Diltiazem, Lasix, heparin and Bumex, TPN, Remicade, IVIG

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Baxter Sigma Spectrum IV Pumps
Ceiling hoyer lift, portable hoyer lift, portable cardiac monitoring, defib x2 when transporting, EKG machine,
