Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Cardiac Tele/PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown 48's

Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12x4, 48 hrs per week, will consider 36's

Length: 13 weeks (up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays)

Weekend Requirement: 5-6 weekend shifts (equates to every other weekend)

Requirements:

  • NC License
  • Minimum 2 Years Experience
  • Telemetry AND PCU/DOU/IMC/StepdowN experience
  • Skills: Interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring required. Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, Pre/Post Cardiac Surgery, and Sheath Removal experience required. Accessing ports, Blood Product Administration, central Line/care management, PICC line management, Cardiac drip-titrate Diltiazem and Amiodarone, Post cardiac cath experience
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIH preferred
  • Charge experience preferred

JOB DETAILS:Ratios: 1:6-7Shift: NIGHT 3x12-Hour 36 or 48 hours. If 48 THEN NO OT BILLED UNTIL AFTER 48. Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays!RTO: 7 days MAX;Float Requirement: YES REQUIREDWeekend Requirement: 5-6 weekend shifts (equates to every other weekend)Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Contract staff may be required to report to work during a catastrophic event, mass casualty or disaster. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
PATIENT DIAGNOSES: Congestive Heart Failure; Arrhythmias; Post cardiac Cath
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: Unit monitors cardiac patients. Cardiac Drips (Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, Dopamine, etc). Sheaths Pulls, TR Bands, Femstop
UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
SCHEDULING TYPE: Self
UNIT ORIENTATION: 24 hours
SCRUBS: Navy
