Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - SICU/CVICU
Shift: Days/ 7a-7:30p, 12x3, 36hrs/week, EOWLength: 13 Weeks
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend; however it could be more based on the needs of the unit, however this would be rare if it was more that every other.Holidays: 2 out 3 for major holidays (winter holidays) other holidays are as needed & would fall into perm staff rotation
Requirements:

CA license
3 years' experience
Must have experience recovering fresh hearts directly from the or within past 6 months
Must have general medical & surgical ICU experience in addition to CVICU experience
Cerner experience required
BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
CCRN Preferred

Other Details:

Common diagnosis / Types of patients: Must have general medical & surgical ICU experience in addition to CVICU experience for this unit. TAVR, Impella, IABP, recovering fresh hearts immediate from the OR, Lumbar drains, Swanz, manual hemo experience preferred. STEMI, AAA, Hypothermia, sepsis, any MedSurg ICU patient, but more focused on CV & CT patients. No CRRT
# beds: 10 beds
Ratios: 1 to 1 or 1 to 2
First to float
Only floating would be to the other ICUs or to ER for inpatient ICU holds
