Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - MS/Oncology - 2 North 48's

Shift: Days / 7a-7:30p, 12x4, 48 hours per week, will accept 36's

Length: 13 weeks

 Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract

Requirements:

• IN/Compact License
• 2 Years Experience
• Central line experience
• Post-op patient assessments, experience with drains (foleys, JP drains, NG tubes)
• BLS

Other Details:

• Not accepting locals
• First Time Travelers Accepted
• Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6 depending on staffing
• Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) 

MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.

Certification Requirements: BCLS

Unit Information: 2North is a 15 bed, fast-paced Medical-Surgical unit that specializes in a variety of patient populations. These populations include: Gynecology-Oncology, Gynecology, Hematology/Oncology, Cystic Fibrosis, and Sickle Cell Anemia. Nurses will gain learning, experience, and skills with central lines, drains, physical assessments, and medication administration, including chemotherapy upon certification. 2North values align with the IU Health Values: Team, Compassion, Purpose, and Excellence.
