Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - ICU Transplant - S44 48's
Shift: Variable D/N or Nights, 12x4, 48 hrs per week, Holiday Coverage needed
Length: 13 weeks
Rotating shifts can vary between switching between days and nights within the same week and/or working a few weeks of days and then a few weeks of nights. Flexibility is a must.
Requirements:
  • DC license
  • Minimum 2 years experience
  • Must have 1 prior travel assignment
  • Skill Required: Cerner, Interpretation and Management of dysrhythmias, Multi-system organ failure, IV insulin protocols, GI surgery, Chronic/Acute Renal failure and IV therapy, CVA/Acute Stroke management, External ventricular drains (EVD), Hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, ICP monitoring, Post Neurosurgery management, Spinal cord injury, Traumatic Brain injury, Respiratory/Thoracic care, Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions/ Use of PPE, Phlebotomy, Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • BSN preferred
  • Charge Nurse experience preferred
  • Teaching Hospital Experience preferred
  • Community Hospital Experience preferred
  • Charting - Cerner
Other Details:
  • Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity
  • May come into contact with Covid Patients
  • Patient Diagnosis: Post-transplant (liver, kidney/pancreas, small intestine, islet cell, multivisceral), ESLD, ESRD, thoracic/abdominal/ENT/Flaps/General surgery, sepsis, multisystem organ failure, pre-transplant hepatology patients, overflow from neurosurgery (craniotomy, CVA, etc.), overflow from MICU.
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required
  • This facility requires that all employees have the Flu vaccine
