Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Medical Surgical - Neuro 2E 48's

Shift: Nights / 6:30p-7a (12x4) 48 hours per week, Will also consider 36 hours, EOW

Length: 8 Weeks

Requirements:

• TN License
• 1 year of experience
• Community hospital experience required
• BSN
• AHA BLS
• NIHSS preferred
• Teaching Hospital Experience preferred

Other Details:

• Floating to other units required
• First time travelers accepted
• All travelers must have live 100 miles from the facility
• Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

• 8 Week Assignment• 36 or 48 hour weeks OK• No Holiday RTO - Must be willing to work the Holidays: Thanksgiving, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, & New Years Day• Floating Required

General orientation will begin on Sundays. Sunday will be online CBLs. I can start the traveler any Sunday that you can complete the compliance documents by the deadline.
Please include in the confirmation: 16 hours of nonbillable orientation. Hospital can cancel/call off one shift biweekly without a financial penalty from the employed 36/36 or 36/48 schedule (use whichever is appropriate for the employment agreement) if there is a decrease in census. Additional shifts picked up above the work commitment as additional overtime shifts will be flexed as needed for hospital census decrease/decreased resource need without penalty.
Contract RN/LPN team members are expected to actively participate in nursing student support and clinical education as we prepare future nurses for the profession. The clinical nursing student education responsibility is expected in addition to/alongside the provision of clinical care practice in every nursing specialty at Ballad Health.
