Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Home Health - Mobile

Shift: Days, 8a-4:30p, 8x5, 40hrs per week

Length: 13 weeks

Weekend REQ: Every 4th weekend. When they are scheduled for a weekend, they get 2 days off around that weekend (i.e. Thursday and Monday).
On-call REQ: There is an on-call requirement – usually 3-5 nights per month depending on the schedule that month. 

Requirements:

  • MO License 
  • 1 Year’ Experience
  • Minimum 1-2 years MS or acute care experience or minimum
  • 1 year in home care experience required
  • Home Health experience required 
  • BLS
Others:
  • First-timers accepted
  • Ratios: 5-20 visits/day average
  • Scrub Color: royal blue for nurses, close-toed shoes; own stethoscope
  • Charting: EPIC
  • COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Not Required
  • Flu Vaccine (Facility Guideline):Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only

Mileage will be reimbursed @ $0.55/mile.Pending License accepted: (Y/N) YRTO Restrictions: 7 daysGuaranteed Hours: 40Special Requirements:HOME HEALTH EXPERIENCE REQUIRED, Minimum 1-2 years MS or acute care experience or minimum 1 year in home care experience required. Very diverse population with high acuity patients; limited resources available for patients. Phlebotomy, pluerx, catheters, Port access, maintenance and care, PT/INR finger sticks, wound vac / wound care, ventilator knowledge, compression wraps / layered compression, Cardiac: CADD pumps, Handheld, ECG monitor & interpret telemetry, wound vacs Will be placed into an every 4th weekend rotation to work both Saturday and Sunday. Will be placed into the overnight on-call rotation for up to 5 nights/month (not scheduled to take call on a night that they were not scheduled to work during the day).We request at least 7 days’ notice to terminate the contract before 13 weeks.We will require return of all facility issued supplies and equipment upon the completion of her contract, including, but not limited to, laptop, cell phone, nursing bag, equipment and trunk supplies.MS Team: Antibiotic infusion, lab draws, IV care, ostomy care, tube feeding, wound vac foley care, disease management, assess socioeconomic and medical needs, education.Cardiac Team: Infusion (inotropes, dobutamine, milrinone), IVP Lasix; post-opScrub Color: royal blue for nurses, close-toed shoes; own stethoscopeCharting: EPIC
