Shift: Nights, 6:45p-7:15a, 12x3, 36hrs per week
Length: 12 Weeks
Weekends: 5-6 weekend shifts per 6 week scheduleExpected to work on holidays
Requirements:

• GA License
• 2 years Med Surg experience
• BLS
• NIHSS

Unit accepts first time travelersPatient Population: Adults to Geriatrics - Ortho/Trauma/OverflowRatio: 1:5-6

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:RTO: MAX 7 daysWEEKENDS: 5-6 weekend shifts per 6 week scheduleHOLIDAYS: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
Major Holidays are listed below:New Year’s Eve and Day: Sunday, December 31 & Monday, January 1Memorial Day: Monday, May 27Independence Day: Thursday, July 4Labor Day: Monday, September 2Thanksgiving/Black Friday: Thursday, November 28 & Friday November 29Christmas Eve and Day: Sunday, December 24 & Monday, December 25
FLOATING: Within facility and to sister campus if needed
COMPLIANCE: FULL compliance required to start on time; if not compliant in time the push back is 2 weeks due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 2 years Med Surg - Unit accepts first time travelers
