Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x3, 36 hours per week, EOW

Length: 18 weeks

Their first week they will have day shift hours with a range of 7a-7p

Requirements:

• MO License
• 2 Years’ Experience
• Med/Surg, Telemetry- remote monitoring, Colostomy care, Feeding tube care and management, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin, Insulin, PCA
• BCLS
• BSN preferred
• Epic required

Other Details:

• Ratios: 1:4-5
• Patient Diagnoses: ostomy, colon resection, colon cancer, bladder cancer, GU, medical overflow high turn-over surgery patient unit
• Special Procedures/Unit Details: foleys, CBI continuous bladder irrigation; TURPS, protocols for colorectal patients
• Will float Within service line

The following drips are administered on our unit-Heparin, Lidocaine ( pain only) , Bicarb, Bivalirudin, Amiodarone ( Stable Non Titrated ) occasionallyWe also have PCAs, Epidurals and CBIs with different irrigation solutionsWe have centralized tele – preferred that Nurse should have some basic knowledge of teleSpecial Procedures/Unit Details:, foleys, CBI continuous bladder irrigation; TURPS, protocols for colorectal patients
