Shift: Nights / 6:45p-7:15a, 12x4, 48 hrs per weekLength: 13 weeks
Weekend Requirement: Off every third weekend
Requirements:

• ME License
• 2 years experience
• Experience with Critical patients requiring ventilator support typically transferred to larger facility
• Management of dysrhythmias, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Telemetry
• BLS
• ACLS
• Critical Care or IMC Course

• Locals Accepted: Out of state travelers only
• Traveler will float to a medsurg assignment if no SCU level patient on unit
• Unit systems (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Omnicell, CERNER, SBAR

Call Requirement: None
Float Requirement: Traveler will float to a medsurg assignment if no SCU level patient on unit.

PATIENT DIAGNOSES:
COVID
Respiratory Distress
Post Cardiac Arrest
DKA
Cardiac Dysrhythmia requiring IV drips


SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS: ED physician, nursing supervisor, and Respiratory therapy in house 24/7. Critical patients requiring ventilator support typically transferred to larger facility.


SPECIAL EQUIPMENT: Telemetry monitoring. Capnography capabilities.

UNIT SYSTEMS (Medication, Documentation, Communication): Omnicell, CERNER, SBAR

UNIT ORIENTATION: 24hrs - Two twelve hour shifts for orientation.

SCRUBS: Navy Blue
