Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Medical Surgical - Neuro
Shift: Days / 6:30a-6p, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, Will work every other weekend
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:

• IL License
• Minimum 2 years' experience
• Experience with Surgical drains
• Required Work Setting Experience: Med/Surg
• Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams
• Required Gastrointestinal Case Skills/Experience: Colostomy care, Feeding tube care and management
• Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs. Required Medication Experience: Heparin, Insulin, PCA
• Required Neurological/Psychiatric Case Skills/Experience: CVA, Pre/Post Neuro Surgery, Spinal cord injuries, Traumatic Brain injury
• Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, CPAP/BiPAP, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oral suctioning, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Pre/Post Thoracic Surgery, Tracheostomy Management
• Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac
• Continuous Bladder Irrigation experience required
• Cerner experience required
• BLS
• NIHSS 
• Teaching Hospital Experience Preferred
• Trauma Level II Experience Preferred

Discuss schedule requests with manager.Locals accepted: Yes- no radius.Must have active IL license in hand to apply.RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. If Client cancels more hours than permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts or portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section.
