Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Labor and Delivery

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a (12x3) 36 hours per week, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

AL License
4 years experience
Must have 4 years OB/Nursery experience
Must be able to work for labor and delivery, mother baby, and Gyn
Newborn Nursery experience
Must have ACLS & BLS, NRP, AWHONN intermediate & STABLE certifications must be attached to submission packet (Must be through the American Heart Association)
Must have newborn nursery experience up to Level II, but ability to stabilize at Level III would be preferred (to stabilize a newborn for transfer to a higher level of care or a NICU)

If there is low census on the unit, this nurse will be reassigned to “task” in the Emergency Department (ED) or possibly on Med/Surg or Pediatrics. Tasking includes starting IVs, giving medications (IV, IM and PO), helping to ambulate patients, turning patients, obtaining vital signs (VS), collecting Intake and Output (I&Os), assisting with admission assessments, putting in orders, etc. These nurses that are sent to task will not be assigned a team of patients but to task only in the event that we get an OB patient in.

Please note that all pay rates are estimates. Weekly gross pay is based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
