Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Med/Surg Neuro

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a (12x3) 36 hOUrs per week, 2 weekends (4 shifts) per 4 week schedule

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• TN license
• 2 Years’ Experience
• BLS
• Med/Surg Experience, ability to prioritize care, multitask, start IV’s, basic wound care, maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, & chest tubes
• Patient Experience requirements:  Expected to provide attentive and compassionate care to patients/family members. Bedside shift report, ability to make personal connections with patients and include them/family members in their plan of care

• Number of Beds : 20
• Patient Ratios :  6:1
• Documentation system:  Meditech
• Type of equipment:  IV Pumps, Telemetry, SCD’s, Continuous Pulse Ox Machines, Feeding Pumps, PCA, EKG machines, bladder scanner, iMobile communication technology
• Comprehensive Stroke, ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center, Certified Chest Pain Center
• Navy scrubs, tops and bottoms
• Contract labor is first to float; go by rotation when there are multiple C/L staff scheduled
