Shift: Nights, 6:45p-7:15a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• CA license
• 2 years’ experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIH
• TNCC/TCAR
• MS/Tele, Telemetry work settings experience required
• Electronic Documentation required
• Previous Charge experience preferred
• Teaching Hospital experience preferred
• Community Hospital experience preferred
• LTAC Experience preferred
• Trauma Level I & II experience preferred
• CPI or MAB preferred

CERTIFICATIONS• Required: ACLS, BCLS, NIH• Preferred: CPI or MAB
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED- Work Settings: MS/Tele, Telemetry- Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Response:• Interpretation of dysrhythmias• Management of dysrhythmias• Telemetry - on the unit monitoring• Use of Rapid Response Teams- Endocrine/Metabolic: IV Insulin Protocols- GI: Feeding tube care and management- Genitourinary/Renal: Pre/Post hemodialysis mgmt., Renal failure- IV Therapy/Phlebotomy:• Accessing Ports• Blood Product Administration• Central line care/management• Peripheral Line Care/Management• Phlebotomy• PICC line management• Starting IVs- Medications:• Heparin Protocols• Manage Cardiac drips- no titration• Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration• PCA- Neurological/Psychiatric:• CVA• Pre/Post neurosurgery• Spinal cord injury• Traumatic Brain injury
