Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - CVICU

Shift: Variable / 12x3, 36hrs per week, Weekends and holidays as needed, no call

Length: 13 Weeks

Requirements:

• ID /compact license
• 2 years of recent ICU experience - required
• 1 year of recent CVIVU experience (will accept candidates with 1 year of immediate post-op open hearts experience)
• 1 year of recent IABP and Impella experience
• 1 year of recent PCU/IMC experience and be willing to float to those units
• Must have STRONG experience w/ immediate post-op CABGs, IABP, Impella, and devices
• Recent travel experience
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• CCRN preferred

• All expected to float to Intermediate Care Unit with 1:4 ratios, large volume of post heart catheterization patients. 
• Critical Care has a combined total of 32 beds: two 13 bed units and 6 overflow beds on 2 floors, ran as one unit
• Traditional staffing of 2:1 nurse patient ratio. 1:1 for post-TPA, CRRT, IABP, Impella and immediate post open heart recovery (>350+ open heart surgeries per year)
  
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Patient population: arterial lines, chest tubes, epicardial pacers. Monitor tech and CNA support.
