Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PICU Float Pool
Shift: Variable D/N, 7a-7p/7p-7a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, or straight NightsLength: 13 weeks
(4-5 weekend shifts sat-sun on day shift and then 5-6 shifts of fri-sat nights – traveler gets off one full weekend every 4 week schedule)Must work 2 out of the 3 holidays
Requirements:

• CA License
• 2 full recent years of Pediatric ICU experience (PICU, CTICU, CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL)
• Experience: Ventilators, trachs, multiple monitoring skills, specifically CVP and EKG
• PICU experience required
• BLS
• PALS

Other details:

• Traveler must be willing to get flu shot when requested
• First to float to other units outside of the critical care units, including ED

THIS IS A CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL POSITION – PEDIATRIC ICU EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Required:• CA License• First to float to other units outside of the critical care units, including ED• Will care for all age ranges and levels of acuity• BLS• PALS• 2 full recent years of Pediatric ICU experience (PICU, CTICU, CRITICAL CARE FLOAT POOL)*for travelers with PICU exp - 15 bed minimum and higher acuity of care across ALL PICU/ICU areas
• Experience: Ventilators, trachs, multiple monitoring skills, specifically CVP and EKG.
Shifts:• 3x12 variable or straight night• (4-5 weekend shifts sat-sun on day shift and then 5-6 shifts of fri-sat nights – traveler gets off one full weekend every 4 week schedule)• 13 week contracts
Requested Time Off:Max 6 days (Must still get 3 shifts in per week)Must work 2 out of the 3 holidays
Patient Population: High acuity unit seeing injury, respiratory failure, shock, multi system failure, poisonings, near drowning, meningitis, post op cardiac surgical care, **neurosurgery. Trauma, hem onc, DKA if PH or altered consciousness
