Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, call may be schedule call on rare occasion

Length: 14 weeks

Requirements:

• GA license
• 2-3 years experience preferred
• Primarily in Family Service Center, but must have both L&D and Mother/Baby experience
• BLS
• NRP
• FHM
• ACLS
• AWHONN Intermediate
• AWHONN Advanced preferred

Other details:

• First time travelers okay
• Communication SBAR
• Medication System Pyxis
• Floating based on needs of the hospital within skillset

Position is primarily in Family Service Center, but must have both L&D and Mother/Baby experience.
Experience: 2-3 years experience preferred, first time travelers okayPatient Ratio: 1:6
Description of unit: Care of the pregnant patient through ante, intra, and post-partum stages as well as newborn care. Nurse should be functional both in labor and delivery and family care center.Procedures: Cesarean Sections, External Versions, Inductions of Labor, assisting with Epidurals and Blood PatchesRequired certs: BLS, ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, NRP, FHM
Scrubs not provided, colors - shocking pink and black
FLOATING: yes - based on needs of the hospital within skillset
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:RTO: MAX 7 days, Blocked Scheduling Not GuaranteedCall: may be schedule call on rare occasion
HOLIDAYS:If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
