Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PCU - Intermediate Care Unit

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hours per week

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• WI or Compact License
• 2 Years’ Experience
• BCLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS

• 60 mile radius rule
• Common Diagnosis/Treatment: heart failure, dysrhythmias (e.g., atrial fibrillation, SVT, bradycardia, heart block), uncontrolled hypertension, syncope, coronary angiography/PCI, device (pacemaker, ICD) implant, peripheral vascular interventions (e.g., fibrinolytics), amputations, fem-pop bypass, carotid endarterectomy, respiratory distress, manage moderate- and high-flow oxygen, COVID, sepsis, DKA/HHS, alcohol/opioid withdrawal, GI bleed, electrolyte disturbances, end-stage renal disease
• # of Beds: 41-50
• Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1:4-5
• Charting: EPIC
• Scrub Color: Royal Blue
• Areas of Float Support: contract-dependent (HVU only vs Mobile Unit)
• Special Prcedues: TR-band weaning, terminal weaning of oxygen, assist with bedside thoracentesis
