Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - CVICU/CCU

Shift: Nights / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week. Weekends as needed

Length: 13 weeks

Holiday Requirements: If holiday falls within contract and there is a need, travelers would work

Requirements:

• WA License
• 3-4 years of CVICU, CCU, or cardiac specific critical care experience
• Must have experience with temporary pacers - 50% of patients
• Must have experience caring for stroke patients 
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
• 3-4 years of experience with PrismaFlex NXstage, IABP, Impella, ECMO and LVAD experience to be considered
• Highly recommended to have experience with all of the following devices: Impella, IABP, CRRT, Prismaflex, Ventrics, ECMO, & LVADs

• Charting System: Cerner
• # Beds 28 (average census 18-20)
• Nurse:Patient Ratios 1:1-2
• Common diagnoses/Types of patients Only have 1 ICU; Mixed diagnosis medical & surgical ICU, Heavy Cardiothoracic surgery, post-open hearts immediate post-op and POD 1-2, valves, PA caths, ECMO VV & VA, transvenous or epicardial pacers on 50% of patients. Multisystem organ failure, resp failure, renal failure, heart failure, vascular surgery, stroke, interventional neuro & transcatheter interventional patients, head bleeds, thrombectomies, Ventrics & lumbar drains. DKA, complex GI surgeries, liver failure, sepsis. ECMO VV & VA
• Ok with first time travelers if have above experience
• RNs required to titrate drips
• Floating Requirements anywhere in house, prioritize floating to progressive care: 1:3 ratios, neuro progressive care 1:3 ratios, Med Surg 1:5 ratios
• Scrub Color/Dress Code Royal Blue, white or grey as secondary colors
