Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - MS/Tele 6B Cardiac Unit 48's
Shift: Nights, 6:45p-7:15a, 12x4, 48hrs per week, will accept 36hrs
Length: 13 weeks
Can accommodate 3x12s if candidate prefers.Will work EOW (Fri/Sat for night shift, Sat/Sun for day shift)
Requirements:
  • IL license
  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • Required Work Setting Experience: MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry
  • Required Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency response Skills/Experience: Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry -on the unit monitoring, Telemetry- remote monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams
  • Required Cardiovascular Case Skills/Experience: Post Cardiac Angiogram, Post MI, Pre/Post Cardiac Cath, TR Band. 
  • Required Endocrine/Metabolic Case Skills/Experience: IV insulin protocols
  • Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/Experience: Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Starting IVs
  • Required Medication Skills/Experience: Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, Titrate Cardiac drips
  • Required Respiratory Case Skills/Experience: Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Nasal Cannula, Oxygen face masks, Portable Oxygen tank, Non-invasive airway management
  • Required Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound Vac
  • BLS
  • ACLS and NIH preferred

  • Will float to like units (MS/Cardiac). Not IMC/ICU

Position / Specialty: Telemetry RNShift: 3x12 Nights (1), can accommodate 4x12s if candidate prefers.Average Daily Census: 25.Years of experience REQ: Minimum 1 year experience required.First-timers accepted: Yes.Weekend REQ: Will work every other weekend (Fri/Sat for night shift, Sat/Sun for day shift)Certs REQ: BLS required. ACLS and NIH preferred.Is on-call REQ? No.Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes- will float to like units (MS/Cardiac). Not IMC/ICU.Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule request with manager.Locals accepted: Yes- no radius.Pending License accepted: No- must have active IL license to apply.RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. If Client cancels more hours than permitted by this section, Client will be billed for any shifts or portions thereof cancelled in excess of this section.
