Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Pediatric PACU

Shift: Variable Days, 8a-8:30p or 5:30a-6p, 12x3, 36 hrs per week

Length: 15 Weeks

On Call Req'd: 4-6 Shifts in 6 Week Period
Weekends Variable
Holiday coverage required

Requirements:

• AZ License 
• Must have 1 year of PACU experience
• 1 year of Trauma ICU OR PICU experience
• PICU or ICU in work history, Trauma Level 1 Exp, Vents, Epic skills required
• BLS
• ACLS/PALS
• Electronic Documentation required
• Trauma Level I Experience required
• Burn Experience preferred
• TNCC is preferred
• Teaching Hospital Experience preferred

• Medication System Pyxis

LOCAL (within 75 miles); 9/23 and 10/7 starts; EITHER: 3, 12Hr 08:00 - 20:30 or 3, 12Hr 05:30 - 18:00

CERTS Req'd: BLS, ACLS/PALS | Trauma certs: TNCC is Preferred

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Pref'd: Burn Exp.
On Call Req'd: 4-6 Shifts in 6 Week Period | Wkends Variable |Holiday coverage required
RTO Blackout Dates (Can possibility be flexible though - lets chat about it!): 10/31, 11/28-30, 12/24-25, 12/31-1/1
Does your RN feel comfortable w/ the below cases?
- Working at night on call, 1RN has peds (4 yo) ICU patient waiting for a bed (could be on vent) while other RN isreceiving an adult ICU patient from OR that will be waiting for a bed. Are you comfortable taking care of the pediatricpatient in this scenario?
- RN taking care of a 3 month old patient from OR phase 1 from pyloric stenosis procedure- outpatient scenario.
- 5 year old patient with tonsil rebleed- phase 1 recovery
- Pediatric (9yo) scald burn injury 30%+ TBSA- grafting- phase 1 recovery from OR
- Pediatric (8 yo) broken arm with nerve repair, ending phase 1, parent at bedside; now same RN getting T&A 4 yo.
