Description
Position: RN – PACU (Must reside 100 miles from the facility.)
Location: The George Washington University Hospital, Washington, DC
Shift: 12-hour Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Travel Assignment

Experience: Minimum 2 years PACU experience required.

Licensure: Active RN license in the applicable state/district.

Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS (Required); CPAN (Highly Desired).

Education: Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program; BSN preferred.

On-Call Rotation: Includes every 5th weekend with separate day and night rotations.

Monitor post-operative patients' recovery from anesthesia.

Obtain and record vital signs, observing for anesthesia side effects.

Administer pain relief and post-operative medications as prescribed.

Maintain accurate documentation in EMR and patient records.

Educate patients and families on post-surgery care.
Must reside 100 miles from the facility.
