Job Description:
- We are seeking experienced Level III NICU Nurses to join our Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The ideal candidate must be proficient in handling ventilators, oscillators, pressors, and caring for micro preemies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to neonates ranging from 23 weeks gestation to 4 months old.
- Attend all C-sections and high-risk deliveries, providing immediate neonatal assessment and care.
- Manage mechanical ventilation, including High-Frequency Oscillation and nitric oxide inhalation therapy.
- Perform neonatal resuscitation, administer blood and blood products, and carry out parenteral therapy.
- Assist with bedside procedures, including IV insertion, intubations, percutaneous catheter insertions, and septic workups.
- Monitor vital signs and respond to neonatal emergencies in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Educate and support parents regarding neonatal care, feeding, and post-discharge procedures.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state/district (Required).
- Minimum 3 years of NICU experience in a Level III NICU (Required).
- Experience with mechanical ventilation, oscillators, and pressors (Required).
Certifications:
- STABLE Certification (Required).
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification (Required).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (Required).
- Must live at least 50 miles away from the medical center.
