Job Details:
Title: Surgical Technologist
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift : 6:45 AM – 5:15 PM (4x10)
Responsibilities:
• To facilitate the safe and effective management of surgical procedures by possessing the expertise in the theory and application of sterile and aseptic technique.
• Handles the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during the surgical procedure.
• The Certified Surgical Technologist understands the procedure being performed and anticipates the needs of the surgeon while having the necessary knowledge.
• Ability to ensure quality patient care during the operative procedure and is vigilant for maintenance of the sterile field.
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate Degree of Applied Science, or Surgical Technology preferred.
• Less than one (1) year job related experience including clinical's taken in a surgical technology program.
• One (1) or more year job related experience preferred.
• Certification in Surgical Technology (CST). or obtained within 6 months of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS).
