Position Details

Job Title: Registered Nurse
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Facility: Ohio State University Hospital (Outside In)
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 3x12's, 7 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week

Job Description

Experience Required:
- 2 years of Labor & Delivery (L&D) experience
Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
Skills Required:
- IV start
- L&D experience
- EPIC experience
Preferred Experience:
- Previous travel experience

Additional Information

Certifications and Competencies

Required Certifications:
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
- NIH Stroke Certification (for ER and Critical Care RNs)
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
- Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam (required within 1 year of start)

Health Documents

Physical Exam: Required within a year of start
Vaccinations:
- Tdap (Tetanus/Diphtheria)
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella (Chickenpox)
- Flu vaccine during flu season
- COVID-19 vaccination (recommended but not required)

Background and Compliance

Background Check: 7-year criminal background check required
Fingerprinting: BCI & FBI fingerprinting required within 1 year of start
References: 2 professional references required (1 from a manager/director)

Education Accreditation Confirmation: Required for nursing graduates
