Job Opportunity: Travel RN - Endoscopy

Location

Facility: Alaska Regional Hospital
City: Anchorage, Alaska

Employment Details

Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: 4 days, 10-hour shifts (days) with call from 7 AM to 5:30 PM
- Call Requirements: 8 weeknight shifts and 2 weekend shifts (24 hours each)
Unit: Endoscopy (Cost Center: 733)

Unit Information

Number of Beds: 2
Number of Staff: 6
- Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 4 RNs
- Night Shift: Call Team
Patient Ratios: Not applicable
Type of Equipment: Endoscopy scopes, EUS equipment, Medivator
EMR System: EPIC

Required Qualifications

Must Have:
- Ability to nurse
- Proficiency in EPIC and probation
Preferred:
- EBUS experience

Typical Procedures Performed

EUS, ERCP, Colonoscopies
Upper/Lower GI, Polypectomy, Stent placements, GI bleeding, etc.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Personality Fit:
- Team player
- Calm demeanor
- Willingness to take call

Required Certifications

RN
BLS
ACLS
PALS (due to possible float in PACU)
