Job Opportunity: MRI Technologist

Location

City: Augusta, Georgia
Facility: AU Medical Center

Employment Details

Type: Contract Clinician
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

General Duties:
- Perform a wide variety of magnetic resonance exams on patients of all ages to provide physicians with diagnostic data.
- Work under the direction of a Radiologist or Manager.

Equipment Utilized

Cerner
PACS system

Required Skills and Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience in MRI.
Ability to operate MRI scanners (Philips, GE, Siemens).

Licensures and Certifications

Required:
- ARRT® or ARMRIT certification.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.

Schedule Requirements

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 9 PM - 7:30 AM.
Will work alone Monday-Wednesday from 4 AM - 7:30 AM.
May occasionally work alone for the entire shift if someone calls off.
No weekends or call required.

Additional Information

Dress Code: Scrubs
No floating to other units/departments.
Nurse to patient ratio: N/A
