Job Description

Minimum Experience Required: 2 years
Traveler Experience: Unit accepts first-time travelers with good ER experience.
Local Travelers: Those located within 30 miles will receive a $10 rate decrease.

Shift Information

Target Ratios: 1:2
Shift: 24 hours Nights, 2x12 (7 PM - 7:30 AM)
Call Requirement: None
Float Requirement: None
Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend required

Required Certifications

MA Statewide (iCORI) Release
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
BLS - Basic Life Support
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
Tech Cert Verification - National
State License Verification

Health Documents

Physical Exam: Required within 1 year of start.
Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap: Adult dose required within 10 years of start.
Negative TB or Chest X-Ray: Acceptable options outlined.
Drug Testing: Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen required within 30 days of start.
Flu Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation: Required October 1 - March 31.
COVID Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation: Required for 2024-25.

Background and History Checks

7 Year Criminal Background Check: Required within 30 days of start.
EPLS/GSA/SAM Check: Required within 30 days of start.
HHS/OIG Check: Required within 30 days of start.
References: 2 professional references required within 3 years of start.
Education Verification: Required; official transcript accepted in lieu of verification.
Massachusetts Statewide iCORI Clearance: Required within 30 days of start date.
