Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse

Employment Details

Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Work Schedule: 36 hours per week, every other weekend and holiday

Required Certifications

Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (NRP)
Neonatal Advanced Life Support (NALS) (preferred for L&D, NICU)
Chemotherapy (CHEMO) (preferred for Oncology)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) (preferred for ER)
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) (may be required for L&D)
Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
NIH Stroke Certification
Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) (preferred for Psych)
Tech Cert Verification - National (required within 30 days of start)
Medication Exam (required for all RNs and LPNs)

Health Requirements

Physical Exam: Required within 12 months of start
Tuberculosis (TB) Testing: 2 PPDs required; QuantiFERON or T-Spot accepted
Vaccinations:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
- COVID-19 Vaccination (documentation required)
- Flu Seasonal Vaccination (required during flu season)

Background and History Checks

Criminal Background Check: Required within 30 days of start
Employment Application: Must include 7 years of employment history
References: 2 references required within three years of start
Education Verification: Required for highest completed education

Additional Information

Valid ID is required.
Time-sensitive documents must be updated annually.
Candidates must pass specific exams with a minimum score of 80% on the first day of orientation to avoid cancellation.
