• Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Position: Pediatric Critical Care float pool RN
• Shift: 3x12 hour nights (7 PM - 7:30 AM), 36 hours/week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, holiday rotation
• Patient Ratios: 1:2/1:3
• Floating: RN will float to all Pediatric units in SJCH (CVPICU, NICU, PICU)

Qualifications

• Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience
  • First-time travelers accepted if they meet experience requirements
• Licensure:

  • South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License required
• Certifications Required:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - AHA only
• Preferred Experience:

  • ECMO (Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation)
  • CRRT (Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy)

Additional Information

• Local Candidates: Accepted on a case-by-case basis
• RTO Restrictions: All requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application
• Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Required Documentation

  • BLS, PALS, ACLS (if applicable)
• Health Documents:

  • Physical Exam
  • TB Test or Chest X-Ray
  • Vaccination records (including Tdap, Flu, and COVID-19)
• Background Check: Annual background check required
