Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse

Employment Details

Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Dates: 4/14, 4/28
Shifts: 3x12 Nights
Patient Ratio: 1:3-4
Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per contract
Float Requirement: Float to IMC

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 2 years required; accepts first-time travelers.
Certifications Required:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
Skills Required:
- Post-open heart experience
- Cardiac Tele
- PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown
- IV Therapy/Phlebotomy

Patient Care

Patient Diagnoses:
- CHF (Congestive Heart Failure)
- CAD (Coronary Artery Disease)
- STEMI (ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction)
- NSTEMI (Non-ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction)
- CEA (Carotid Endarterectomy)
- Pre and post-op CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting)
- Pre and post-op vascular procedures
- TAVR (Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement)
- Mitral clips
- Loading patients, s/p stent - cardiac and vascular
Patient Age Group: Adults, Geriatrics

Additional Information

Scrubs: Not provided; color: Navy
Flu Vaccine: Required for all employees.
Health Documents Required:
- Annual physical exam
- N95 Fit Test
- TB test or chest X-ray
- Vaccinations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap)
- Drug screen
Background Check: Required within 90 days of start.

References

Two positive supervisory references required, including one from the most recent assignment.
