Job Description
- Position/Specialty: Pediatric IV Therapy RN
- Years of Experience Required: 2 years
- First-Timers Accepted: Yes
- Special Requirements: Pediatric Vascular Access Specialist (VAS) experience required (e.g., HemeOnc, ICU, Peds to adult population).
Certifications Required
- BLS: Basic Life Support
- ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (required for specific units)
- PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support
- NRP: Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (preferred for NICU)
- CHEMO: Chemotherapy certification (required for Oncology)
- EFM: Electronic Fetal Monitoring (required for L&D)
- CPI: Crisis Prevention Institute certification (required for Psych and Behavioral Health positions)
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam: Required for all RNs and LPNs
- State License Verification: Must be verified within 30 days of start date
- NURSYS Verification: Required for RN, LPN/LVN, AP
- Background Check: 10-year criminal background check required
Health Requirements
- Physical Exam: Required within the year of start, signed by a qualified medical professional.
- Immunizations:
- Tdap
- TB test (negative result required)
- MMR (2 vaccinations or positive titer)
- Varicella (2 vaccinations or positive titer)
- Hepatitis B (series and/or titer)
- COVID-19 vaccination (series and booster preferred)
- Flu vaccination (for the current season)

- Charting System: EPIC
- Parking: Day passes available for off-site parking at a discounted rate; free parking for night shifts.
- Orientation: Candidates will be contacted 2-4 days before the assignment starts for orientation details.
