• Shift Hours: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM (Nights – 3x12’s)
• Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend and holiday

Required Qualifications

• Certifications:

  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • NIH
  • Virginia State License or Compact
• Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years in Med Surg / Telemetry
• Float Requirements: Must be able to float to other units

• Department: Medical Innovation Unit
• Number of Beds: 495
• Patient Ratios: 1:7
• EMR System: EPIC (required)

Additional Information

• Facility Overview:

  • Designated as a Level II Trauma Center
  • Average patient ratios are not guaranteed but typically 1:7
  • 9th consecutive year earning “A” grade in Patient Safety

• Contract Details:

  • No block scheduling available
  • Holiday requests: May request one holiday off, no more than two days for holiday RTO will be considered
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  • Candidates must be well qualified with all required experience
