Job Opportunity: RN Emergency Room

Overview

Specialty: RN Emergency Room
Location: Warwick, Rhode Island
Hospital System: Care New England Health System
Facility: Kent
Employment Type: LTA (Long-Term Assignment)
Contract Length: 12 months
Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM (Nights)
Environment: High Volume, Fast Paced Adult ER
Vaccination Requirement: COVID & FLU VAX REQUIRED

Required Credentials

Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
Licenses:
- Nursing License (Nursys)
- License/Certificate Verification (Primary Source Verification)
- CNE RI Fingerprinting (RN ONLY)
Professional Requirements:
- CNE Skills Checklist (RNs Only)
- CNE Specialty Competency Exam (RNs Only)
- CNE Basic EKG Exam (RNs Only)
- CNE Pharmacology Exam (RNs Only)
- CNE Core Competencies (RNs Only)
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing)
- Driver's License/State ID

Health History Requirements

Vaccinations:
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Proof required)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella)
- Hepatitis B (3 Immunization Series, Positive Titer or Declination)
- Influenza Vaccine (Documentation from September-May)
- Varicella (Proof of 2 immunizations or Positive Titer)
- Tdap (Proof of Immunization within 10 years)
Fit Testing: N95 mask fit testing required
PPD/TB Testing: Two PPD Skin tests or One IGRA completed within the last year
Chest X-Ray: Required if history of positive PPD/TB blood test

Additional Requirements

Background Check: Federal, County, National, and Statewide Background Check with OIG, NSO, GSA/SAM Searches
References: Minimum of 2 Professional References
Documentation: All testing and forms must be signed and uploaded for review prior to start
Orientation Packet: CNE First Look orientation packet
Confidentiality Agreement: Must be signed before start
Employment Verification: Last 5 years
Annual Requirements: CNE Covid and Flu Policy CNE Form
Badge Photo: Neutral colored background, forward facing
Health Clearance Form: Required upon acceptance of offer

Notes

All vaccines and titers must include name, date of birth, date administered, and provider information.
Medical exemptions for vaccinations will be reviewed and approved by the CNE medical exemption review group prior to start.
