Job Summary

The X-ray Technician performs and produces evaluation documentation of diagnostic radiography. Responsibilities include assisting in transporting patients to the radiographic room and preparing and maintaining the radiographic room and work area.

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate with completion of an AMA approved X-ray training school.
• Licensure: Current registry with Radiography through the American Registry for Radiologic Technologist (A.A.R.T.) and must maintain current licensure as a radiographer in the State of Rhode Island.
• Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in the English language.

Required Credentials

1. COVID-19 Vaccine: Proof of vaccination series or Bivalent booster required.
2. MMR: Proof of 2 immunizations or positive titer.
3. Fit Test: N95 mask fit testing required prior to start.
4. Hepatitis B: Complete vaccination series or declination.
5. Influenza Vaccine: Documentation required from September-May.
6. Driver's License/State ID: Copy required.
7. 2 Step PPD OR IGRA: Two PPD Skin tests or One IGRA completed within the last year.
8. Varicella: Proof of 2 immunizations or positive titer.
9. Tdap: Proof of immunization within the last 10 years.
10. CNE Profile: Resume or profile submission required.
11. Professional References: Minimum of 1 supervisory reference required.
12. Criminal Background Check: Federal, County, National, and Statewide checks required.
13. CNE First Look Orientation Packet: All testing and forms must be signed and uploaded for review prior to start.
14. CNE Non-Employee Confidentiality Agreement: Must be signed before start.
15. CNE Employment Verification: Verification of employment for the last 5 years required.
16. CNE Covid and Flu Policy CNE Form: Must be completed annually.
17. CNE Badge Photo: Neutral colored background, forward-facing photo required.
18. CNE Occ Health Request for Clearance Form: Required upon acceptance of offer.
19. BLS Certification: AHA and ARC acceptable.
20. License/Certificate Verification: Primary source verification of professional license and/or certification required.
21. ARRT Certification: Required for Radiology Tech.
22. Education Verification: Verification of degree in radiology technology required.

Additional Information

• All vaccines must include name, DOB, date administered, and provider/clinic administered by.
• Documentation for all credentials must be provided as specified.
• Medical exemptions for vaccinations will be reviewed and approved by the CNE medical exemption review group prior to start.
