Job Description

• Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
• Requirements:

  • BLS and Kentucky license/NMTCB required
  • Minimum of 1 year experience
  • Locals accepted with a reduced hourly rate

Certifications and Competencies Required

• Certifications:

  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
  • BLS - Basic Life Support
  • PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
  • NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
  • EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring
  • State License Verification
  • NURSYS Verification (for RNs, LPNs/LVNs)
  • NIH Stroke Certification (as applicable)
  • CPI - Crisis Prevention Institute (as applicable)
  • Food Handlers Card (for non-clinical roles)

• Competencies:

  • Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
  • Color Blind Testing
  • Competency Exam (as applicable)

Health Documents Required

• Physical Exam: Within 1 year of start
• Fit Mask: Required and updated annually
• Vaccinations:

  • Tdap vaccine within 10 years
  • Negative TB or Chest X-Ray within 1 year
  • Baseline TB Risk Assessment within 90 days of start
  • Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella vaccinations or titers
• Drug Testing: Negative 9 Panel Urine Drug Screen within 90 days of start
• Flu Vaccine or Exemption Documentation: Required during flu season
• COVID-19 Vaccination or Exemption Documentation: Required

Background and History Checks

• Background Check: 7-year criminal check required
• References: 2 professional references required (1 for non-clinical candidates)
• Employment Application: Required
• Education Verification: Required, proof of highest level of education needed

Additional Information

• Candidates must provide a current Driver’s License if driving is a job responsibility.
