Job Opportunity: Pharmacy Position

Overview

Specialty: Pharmacy
Location: Tucson, Arizona
Facility: Tucson Medical Center
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Shift Details

Shift Hours: 0730-1600 or 0800-1630

Qualifications

Experience: Must have Oncology experience
Certifications Required:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- RPh (Registered Pharmacist)
- State License
- Chemo Certification

- Current Driver's License/State ID
- Residency Declaration Form (if using compact license)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure)
- EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring)
- Tech Cert Verification - National
- HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course)
- Acknowledgement of Pass/Fail Testing
- State License Verification
- NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
- Management of Assaultive Behavior (MAB)
- NIH Stroke Certification
- Pass/Fail Testing (EKG/Medication)
- CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) Certification
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
- Color Blind Testing (for OR and Cath Lab positions)
- Competency Exam
- HIPAA Competency

Health Documents

Physical Exam: Must be within 1 year of start
Fit Testing: N95 only, within 1 year of start
Vaccinations:
- Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B
- Varicella
Drug Testing: Must be completed within 30 days of start
Flu Vaccination: Required during flu season (Oct 1 – Apr 30)

Background Check

Must be started within 30 days of the assignment start date
Includes searches for Pima County, AZ, and other relevant checks

References

2 professional references from employment within the last 3 years required, with 1 from a supervisory role.
