Job Description

Shift: Night shift, 3 - 12 hour shifts, 7 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience Required: Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
Licensure: Must have a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand.
Certifications Required:
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support)
- AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- NIH certification (must obtain prior to start)
- Epic experience is mandatory.
References: Two recent references from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for are required for submission.

Contract Length

13 weeks

Additional Requirements

Testing: ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate will be completed during orientation; acceptable scores on both assessments are required.
Holidays: Traveler must work at least every other holiday.

Certifications and Competencies

Certifications:
- ACLS
- BLS
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) - preferred
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure) - required for L&D, OB/GYN, and NICU
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) - required for ER
- HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement
- State License Verification
- NURSYS Verification
- NIH Stroke Certification
Health Documents:
- Physical Exam
- Fit Mask Testing
- Tdap vaccine
- Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
- Drug Testing
- Flu Vaccine or Medical/Religious Exemption
Background Check: Required prior to start of assignment.

Application Requirements

Work History: Application must include 3 years of prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting.
References: 2 references required from employment within the past year.
