Position Details

Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology
Location: Conyers, Georgia
Facility: Piedmont Rockdale Hospital
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 11 weeks

Unit Details

Schedule: Weekend shifts (Friday-Sunday)
Call: None
Floating: Within facility/scope of practice as needed
Minimum Experience Required: 1 year (first-time travelers accepted)

Compliance and Requirements

RTO (Return to Offer): Maximum of 7 days
Holidays: Expected to work major holidays if they fall within the assignment period. Major holidays include:
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving/Black Friday
- Christmas Eve/Christmas Day
- New Year's Eve/New Year's Day
Compliance: Full compliance required to start on time; non-compliance may result in a 2-week delay.

Certifications Required

ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support
BLS: Basic Life Support
PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (if applicable)
EFM: Electronic Fetal Monitoring
State License Verification: Required for CRTs & RRTs in Georgia
NURSYS Verification: Required for RN, LPN/LVN, AP
NIH Stroke Certification: As applicable
Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam: Required for RNs and LVNs by Aya
Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam: Required for specific units

Health Documents Required

Physical Exam: Required within 1 year of start
Negative TB or Chest X-Ray: Required within 12 months of start date
TB Questionnaire: Required annually
Vaccinations:
- Flu vaccine or declination required
- COVID vaccine or declination required
- Hepatitis B series or signed declination
- Varicella, Rubeola, Mumps vaccinations or positive titers

Background and History Checks

Background Check: Required within 30 days of start
References: 2 clinical references needed
Work History Verification: Required
Education Verification: Required

Additional Information

Skills Checklist: Must be updated annually
Transcript/Diploma: Required for RRTs
Verification of Most Recent Employer: Required
