Position Details

• Specialty: RN Medical/Surgical

• Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (LTA)
• Contract Length: 12 months
• Shifts: Rotating shifts, 36 hours per week

Required Credentials

1. Mass RN License

   • Primary Source Verification required within 30 days of start date.
   • MA Conditional Licenses not accepted.

2. Certifications (All required for onboarding):

   • BLS (Basic Life Support)
   • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
   • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

3. Training:

   • MGB FEMA ICS 100 Training (must be completed, no exceptions).

4. Fit Test:

   • N95 Respirator Fit Test required within 365 days of start date, updated annually.

5. Health History Requirements:

   • COVID-19 Vaccine (primary series required, no exemptions).
   • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or proof of immunity.
   • Influenza Vaccine (required during flu season).
   • TB Test (skin test or QuantiFERON TB Test within 3 months of start date).
   • Health Statement signed by MD/DO/NP/PA within 365 days of start date.
   • Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity (preferred).
   • Tdap vaccination (within 10 years, preferred).

6. Background Checks:

   • MGB Criminal Background Check (includes a review of the past 7 years).
   • MGB Massachusetts CORI (criminal history check).
   • MGB National Sex Offender Check.
   • MGB Exclusion Checks (OIG, GSA, MassHealth & NH Medicaid).

7. Professional Documentation:

   • MGB Resume (including past 7 years of work experience).
   • MGB Education Verification (highest level of education achieved).
   • MGB References (2 recent references, minimum 1 supervisor).
   • MGB Skills Checklist (required for submission).
   • MGB Confirmation of Assignment/POI Form (required upon acceptance).

Additional Information

• All required credentials must be submitted for onboarding.
• Documentation must be updated as specified (e.g., health history, background checks).
• Strongly preferred to have documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination or proof of immunity.
