Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse

Employment Details

Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 5x8s, 11 PM - 7 AM
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Patient Ratio: 1:5 on LTACH side, 1:6 on Rehab side

Job Description

Must have a valid Massachusetts nursing license.
Requires 1+ years of experience in MedSurg, LTAC, or ICU.
IV certification preferred (will need to perform IVs).
RNs will conduct full patient assessments for start of care.

Required Certifications

ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (from AHA or American Red Cross)
BLS: Basic Life Support (preferably from AHA or American Red Cross)
PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (preferably from AHA or American Red Cross)
Tech Cert Verification: National certification as applicable
State License Verification: Primary source online verification

Health Documents

Physical Exam: Within 1 year of start
Negative TB or Chest X-Ray: Within 1 year of start
Drug Testing: Negative 10 panel drug test required prior to start
Flu Seasonal Vaccination: Required during flu season (August - April)
COVID-19 Vaccination: Required (or exemption with daily testing)

Background Checks

Standard background check (7-year search)
Annual checks for EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG

References

2 Professional References required for Travel, Allied, Per Diem Acute Care
1 Professional Reference required for Per Diem Non-Acute Care

Additional Information

MA Nurse Aide Registry Search required for all travelers in MA.
Massachusetts Statewide iCORI Clearance (Attestation) is mandatory for all candidates working at MA facilities.
