Position Details

Shift Information

• Shift Schedule: 4x9s, Tuesday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:30 PM
• Weekend Requirement: Every 4th weekend, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM, with call from 12:00 PM Saturday to 12:00 AM Monday

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of two years as an MRI Technologist
• Certifications Required:

  • ARRT (MR) certification
  • AHA BLS certification
  • AHA ACLS certification (preferred)
  • AHA PALS certification (as applicable)
  • AHA NRP certification (as applicable)
  • National Certification/Verification (as applicable)
  • HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgement
  • Ohio radiology license (must be obtained prior to start)

Additional Requirements

• Background Check: Required prior to start, must include a comprehensive 7-year search.
• References: Two recent satisfactory pre-employment references required.
• Application: Must include 3 years of prior work history, including at least 2 years of clinical practice in an acute care setting.
• Competency Exam: Unit-specific competency exam required within 12 months of start, updated annually.
• Health Documents:

  • Pre-employment physical
  • Fit Mask certification (updated annually)
  • Negative TB test or chest x-ray (within 6 months of start)
  • Immunization records for Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, and Varicella
  • Drug screening (negative 10 Panel + Nicotine)
  • Flu vaccine documentation during flu season

Onboarding Process

• Fingerprinting: Two fingerprintings required; one onsite for facility requirements and one through the agency.
• Training Modules: Online training modules must be completed prior to start, typically taking 4-5 hours.
• Badge Requirements: Candidates must pick up their badge from the facility prior to start.

Notes

• Candidates must be willing to obtain an Ohio license prior to starting the position.
• All certifications and documents must be current and in hand at the time of submission.
